Careful consideration is required before purchasing generally van tyres are more costly than car tyres. You need to consider if you require an adapted or dedicated van tyre. As previously mentioned that some are marked XL or RF on the sidewall for extra load or reinforced. Basically these are standard car tyres which are reinforced to be able to handle the extra pressure of vans. If your van is being regularly used for heavier loads then these are not recommended.

Van tyres which are marked C are designed for vans and can cope with adverse conditions.
