Goodyear produces the new Eagle F1 summer tyre
There is a new summer tyre on the scene that Goodyear has produced and it is the newest member of the Eagle F1 family. This tyre offers ultra-high performance for all weather conditions and road types which allows you to be prepared for the roads. The new summer tyre has been identified as the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 and consists of some of the newest technology in the tyre scene.
Tyre properties which Goodyear have improved
One of the biggest limiting factors within the tyre scene is increasing the outright grip while managing to keep the rolling resistance at a minimum. With the new summer tyres which Goodyear have produced, The rolling resistance has not been affected and the grip has increased no matter the condition. This can be applied to a wide variety of vehicles such as hatchbacks, electric vehicles and many more. The Asymmetric 6 range gives reassurance to the driver with its control in wintery conditions and braking ability on wet roads. All of these properties contribute to a well-rounded tyre while maintaining the sports signature look.
Technology advancements
Goodyear has been thriving in the technology element of tyres. Proof of this would be the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 and how it will be effective in the motoring world. The Asymmetric 6 has contact patch technology which enhances the size of the contact patch to distribute load across the area of the tyre. It increases the contact between the rubber and the road surface which is due to the compound contained in the resin. Ultimately, This is the reason why rolling resistance has improved while producing high rear rates, therefore, providing the driver with more grip to carry out more complex manoeuvres.
The sole intentions from Goodyear
With Goodyear always looking to improve within the motoring industry. They have been looking at different ways to decrease the noise produced by tyres. With the new Goodyear produced Asymmetric 6, a new noise-cancelling manufacturing pattern has been created to improve on the Asymmetric 5
