Tyre pressure can been one of the easier things to spot whist driving. When pressure drops to an inadequate level road noise and fuel usage increases, especially with heavy loads at fast speeds. Tyre pressures vary from vehicle to vehicle so to find your recommended level check the fuel cap or door jam. regular checks are still encouraged as it may not be as noticeable in early stages.
Tyre tread depth
Tyre tread plays a huge factor in the grip your vehicle has on the road as it disperses the water in wet conditions. A quick way to check if you need new tyres is the 20p coin trick. This involves placing a 20p between the treads and if it sticks out past this then it is best to check using a tread depth gauge. The legal limit for this is 1.6mm, past this point drivers can be prosecuted therefore it is always best to keep up with regular checks.
